Manlleu Town Council’s website receives AENOR certification for accessibility

The Manlleu Town Council web portal has obtained certification from the Spanish Association for Standardization and Certification (AENOR) for its compliance with the characteristics of universal access to Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and for the full access it offers to users with disabilities (physical, visual, hearing and cognitive impairments) or of advanced age.

The certificate also accredits the improvement in the efficiency of this website, which has managed to cut maintenance costs and offer segmented content according to four main areas of interest: the town, the people, the economy and the town council.

The Manlleu Town Council’s web portal has been developed by iDISC and is based on open source tools.
