Service continuity measures at iDISC

Despite the impact and disruption caused by COVID-19 on many aspects of our lives, iDISC is operating 100% in the cloud.


At iDISC, we are closely monitoring the situation with regard to the outbreak of COVID-19, and we are keeping an eye on the latest developments, as well as recommendations from the health experts and authorities where our employees, collaborators and partners live and work. This is why we have made the decision to switch to remote working for everyone in Barcelona, Xalapa and Porto Alegre. 


We are now all working from the cloud.


Some of our teams work in countries where they have to be confined to their homes, in accordance with instructions from the respective governments. While this is an exceptional situation, we at iDISC have already been working from a tried and tested cloud-based management environment for a number of years. Therefore, we are pleased to inform you that there will be no disruption to our capacity to continue to meet the requirements of your translation and development projects.


Our cloud-based platform will continue to work as before and we will continue to invest and develop so that all our customers receive a high-quality service, delivered quickly, on time, and without putting extra stress on our teams.


The business continuity plans were designed to ensure that our services remain available for our customers and partners, and that the communication channels remain open during difficult and complex times. This way of providing service has been successful, and we have been working as usual, online, for the last week. All of iDISC’s employees and collaborators have the resources and tools they need to do their jobs securely from any location, and to guarantee service and availability. In addition, with the current process for the implementation of the ISO/IEC 27001 standard, we are prepared to manage this type of situation and to guarantee service to our customers with all the necessary security measures. 


We will continue to monitor the plans, making changes when required, and we will share any modifications and updates with you.
