Having a multilingual portal gets easier and easier

iDISC has designed an innovative service for the translation and publication of contents on multilingual portals which allows information to be published without the user having to enter information manually. It works by means of an automatic data import and export process via a contents manager.

This process has been applied for the first time in the development of a portal for the Town Council of Lliçà d'Amunt, a website based on the D2WEB contents manager and available in two languages: Catalan and Spanish.

The main advantage of this service is that information is loaded quickly and automatically, which translates into an important saving in terms of time and money for clients using the website.

The translation of the contents is carried out using a strict quality control process, guaranteed by the EN 15038 certification of which iDISC is a holder. Translations are carried out by translators who are native speakers of the target language and are proofread by a second translator in order to guarantee their quality.
