Continuous Multilingual Technical Translation
10/04/2019
Since 2019, a Netherlands-based company in the ProAV sector has needed more than occasional translations. Its goal was to work with a partner capable of supporting its international growth, ensuring technical and brand consistency as the number of languages, content volumes, and overall complexity continued to increase.
iDISC has gradually kept pace with this evolution, and today manages the full range of the client’s languages and content types. The service covers translation from English into five European languages (Spanish, French, Italian, German and Dutch) and includes both technical documentation and marketing content.
For the client, the result has been the consolidation of a single and reliable linguistic model, capable of handling increasing volumes and greater technical complexity without sacrificing coherence or responsiveness. Over the course of the collaboration, more than one million words have been processed, with the scope of the service expanding over time and, since 2023, including the comprehensive translation of technical manuals.
Thanks to this continuity, the client now benefits from fully aligned content across all European markets, with consistent terminology, technical clarity, and a unified brand voice. Transparent management of volumes and budgets, along with an agile response to adjustments or shifting priorities, has enabled us to maintain a stable and predictable workflow.
The project has evolved into a long-term relationship, built on trust, reliability, and the ability to adapt to the client’s changing needs.
