Digitization of Certified Translations
02/09/2024
In the Mexican market, certified translation services had traditionally relied mainly on manual, face-to-face, and low-transparency processes, with long response times and a fragmented customer experience. The goal of this project was not to optimize an existing service, but to completely transform the model while preserving legal rigor and improving speed, traceability, and scalability.
Throughout 2024 and 2025, iDISC led a comprehensive digitalization project for the B2C certified translation service, focused on legal, academic, and immigration-related documents. The result was the launch of a proprietary web platform that centralizes the entire service cycle, from online request submission and payment to certified processing and final delivery.
For the end customer, this translates into a 100% digital, clear, and fully traceable process that eliminates unnecessary in-person visits and reduces waiting times without compromising legal compliance. The service combines automation, OCR and AI-assisted pre-layout with standardized workflows and expert oversight, ensuring formal consistency and legal reliability in every delivery.
The operational and commercial impact has been tangible. The service achieves a 99% on-time delivery rate and acceptance by the relevant authorities, incident rates below 1%, and full digital adoption of the purchasing and management process. In addition, the option for physical delivery both within Mexico and internationally expands the reach of the model compared to traditional services.
The resulting customer experience has generated a high level of satisfaction, reflected in a strong reputation with a perfect Google rating, and has positioned iDISC as a benchmark for the modernization of B2C certified translations in Mexico.
